Small coolant leak only when the engine is cold
I've got a 2015 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6 Pentastar. I've noticed a small puddle of coolant under the front of the car in the morning, but only when the engine is completely cold. During the day if I park after driving, nothing. I've looked around and can't see where it's coming from. The coolant level drops about a cup every few weeks. A friend said it could be the water pump seal leaking only when contracted, or maybe a cracked plastic radiator tank. I need to find a shop that offers Certified Radiator Care Mussafah and can pressure test the system when it's cold. Has anyone here had a cold leak only on the Pentastar and found it was the thermostat housing or the radiator end tank? Also wondering if a leaking heater core could drip externally. The car has 120k km and I don't want to overheat in the desert. Any advice on what to check first or a good shop in Mussafah would be great. Thanks.
