How to cook After Covid Recovery Spleen Soup / Remedy for Cough / 冠状病毒后的健脾养生汤 / 治咳嗽汤 (Step by Step)
After recovered from Covid-19, persistent symptoms like thick phlegm, bad cough, flu, insomnia, fatigue, weak body, low immunity, poor appetite and lack of concentration, may still linger for quite some time. Thanks to an old couple friend of my hubby’s who brought us some TCM Chinese herbs which is said to able to help treat these aftereffects. We really find goodness in this Spleen Soup as we felt much better after drinking it. This soup is can also treat bad cough & phlegm which is not due to covid too! I hope this soup recipe can help those in need and lead them a faster road to recovery.
Health Benefits of the Ingredients in this Spleen Soup:-
1. Astragalus (Huang Qi): Protects and supports the immune system, prevents colds and upper respiratory infections, lowers blood pressure, treats diabetes, and protects the liver. Astragalus has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
2. Codonopsis (Dangshen): Stimulates the central nervous system, increases endurance and red and white blood cells counts and promoted blood circulation.
3. Sweet Apricot Kernels (Nan Xing): Relieves heatiness and soothe coughs.
4. Bitter Apricot Kernels (Bei Xing): Relieves cough, asthma and unblock bowels.
5. Wolfberry: Boosts immune system and flu protection, antioxidants for eyes and skin, maintains blood sugar, increases testosterone, restores body and strengthens body energy.
