Your TIN (Tax Identification Number) may well be your UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) in the UK. You can see it on official statements of HMRC like your tax return, payment reminders or your personal tax account. It is a 10 digit number that is yours or that of your business. Having registered under Self Assessment or having your own limited company means you were automatically given a UTR. In case it is lost, you may call HMRC or check online through Government Gateway account.
